WE WANT NO PUBLIC OPTION/GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE PROGRAM
Sign the Petition : 12 Letters and Emails Sent So Far
Dear Congress, Plain and simply put; We do not want a government run health care program and we do not want the government determining our eligibility for any such plan, based on our lifestyle choices. We cannot afford this or any federally funded health care plan and neither can our children afford to pay for this in future. By supporting a federally funded health care plan, you endanger our rights as an individual, our liberty, and the pursuit of our happiness! | |

The government is incapable of running anything. Social Security and medicare are projected to be running deficits in the next decade. Once you join you can't get out doesn't sound like an option just a monoply.
By passing this bill you are will essentually have turned us into a union society. The government will allegedly be responsible for our healthcare, retirement(pension), and etc. Now lets look at the union based industries; airlines, auto and parts producers, manufacturing sector, and etc. They have all either moved to cheaper labor or got bailed out or bankrupt. Well after you skyrocket taxes to pay for all of this most laborers will move to cheaper countries, China and Japan are slowing thier bailout lifelines already, which means a bankrupt 3rd world country. We already have the depreciating currency, falling living standards, a real unemployment number of 17.5% or 10.2% for you slick politians, and record high for people on a form of assistance. By signing this bill you are putting the final nail in America's and your job's (because you will be voted out at the end of your term) coffin.

Elected officials take an oath to uphold the constitution. Health care is not in the constitution. Such matters belong to the private sector and maybe the states, but definitely not the federal government.

Any politician who votes for this bill is running rough shod over the wishes of millions of Americans. This bill will help destroy our nation and it's future--freedom loving people will be muzzled or flee, and all the world, even your family, friends and children, will be the poorer for it.
