As a 22 Year Salaried Employee of General Motors and an 8 Year Salaried Employee of Delphi Corporation forcecd into early retirement with a significant loss of my earned pension stolen by this supposed bankruptcy and government take over. I have also lost my healthcare insurance.
I will not purchase a GM product nor allow any of my eligible relations use our GM discount to purchase a GM product until the US Government and GM restores 100% of my earned pension.

This is about bailing out incompetence and rewarding the unions and buying votes( AKA Democratic contributers). Flagrant abuse of federal power and money. Lower my taxes and let the incompetent go away as they should. History has proven someone with a better product will take their place.

I currently own 2 Chrysler vehicles that were back in 2000 and 2007. Trust me, I won't be buying Chrysler or GM in the future. I'll go back to Ford. I didn't believe in the bailout and then when Chrysler went into bankruptcy after receiving the money, I couldn't believe it. My personal opinion, they need to GIVE BACK the bailout money since they went into bankruptcy which would have happened even without the bailout money.

The bailouts were two sided. They helped the ceo's make money and destroy the lives of retiree's with the gov. blessings . The Government control of private and free business is not the plan of a free nation only a plan of a few communist countries . I will boycott GM it will be easier since my Pension was cut and my health care was dropped

Everyone needs to buy a Ford-they refused a gov. bailout and they are not screwing people out of the pensions they earned.

All I see is Washington making this country into a union state. With Mob Bosses running the Unions that were good at one but now are only a source of easy money. A new form of Tax applied to every factory worker. Stop supporting Union take-overs as well.

I don't believe this entire concept of lending money to companies and taking ownership is constitutional since it is not equal protection under the law. Congress should not be targeting any class of people or companies. We have bankruptcy process where it can be done properly without coercion from the government.

Nothing GM will be bought by our large family of consumers. We rely on free market capitalism for our livlihoods and BHO is selling our americanism on the auction block to his co-convicts and conspirators in the unions and from the Chicago streets. They are making BILLIONS and we are paying for it unless we take back america. BHO isn't even an American ! Look it up people ! pbgss

Due to the unconstitutional actions of Barack Hussein Obama concerning the American car aompanies and his circumvention of federal bankruptcy laws in favor of the UAW, I will NEVER.....get that?.....NEVER buy another car built by a UAW worker as long as I live.

Socialism failed so badly in the Soviet Union that the chinese communists found a way to incorporate capitalism into their totalitarian regime and now they are kicking everyone's economic ass. Pravada, PRAVADA!!, is lecturing us on why we shouldn't go down that road. Tell me Mr. President what makes you think it will work here?!

I have owned over 50 new GM vehicles for my personal use. Currently drive a new Escalade & XLR. Have(had) a large investment in GM retail bonds for retirement income. Neither I nor my heirs will ever purchase a union made product again.
3,000 dealers with approx. 50 employees each, several hundred thousand stock holders and thousands of bond holders were probably GM's and Chrysler's best customers. I doubt that they or anyone they influence will buy product from Obama Motors.

the ends do not justify the means. the federal government has no constitution-given right to take this type of role in the private market. The consequence of a GM failure may be painful and widespread, but these risks are the strength and health of a capitalistic system and cannot be meddled with by power-thirsty politicians.
