What do I look for when buying online? Shipping via USPS because the Postal Service is the only shipper that counts Saturday as a business day. Saturdays do count!

We need to evaluate the job that John Potter is doing. Someone more suited to the position and motivated to actually save the USPS could accomplish it. He is not motivated to do so. He keeps urging the government to privatize the USPS. This seems to be his goal. This would be bad for us, as the few places in this country it had been done, the results have been disastrous. You cannot pay someone a pittance, choose to skip background checks and still have quality service. If we replace Potter and thin the management, the USPS would look far more profitable. As for mail volume being down, how far down is it really? The old numbers were obtained by estimating from yardstick measurements. Now there is a machine that counts the mail. This is like comparing apples to oranges. 5 day delivery is not the way to save the USPS.

It should be wholly taken over by the gov't. This is a service, and will never again be profitable. They should concentrate more on customer service.

Do away with excess Higher Management before taking away customer service.

Current adminstration of the USPS is certainly taking "service" out of the USPS. Isn't it true that USPS was established to provide a service to the citizens of the US??? Raising rates and continuing to decrease service is contributing to the demise of the USPS.

I urge you to continue to support 6 day delivery. To me the postal service should not be considered a business but a vital function serving this nation.

There are lots of better ways to fix this problem...i.e. too much middle management, too many offices that are not needed (5 miles from another office), etc

A regulated and system has been in place forever it seems. Five day service would open the gates for multiple venders to give a crack at....unregulated!!

Please rethink cutting our mail delivery from 6 days to 5 days. Many businesses rely on Sat. pick up and deliveries. Not to mention our senior citizens who look forward to their mail service everyday. Thank you.
