Petition to Remove Arlen Specter from Office

Senator Arlen Specter, a career politician, is changing his political stripes solely to avoid defeat in the PA 2010 Republican primary. Specter is a lawyer through and through and should have the moral/professional awareness that this change contradicts his responsibility to the citizens of PA.
This self preserving political motivation only undermines himself, the citizens and the voters, those that were for and against Specter, in every fashion.
What happened to policy, moral dedication and accountability?
Is this not bait and switch on a grandiose scale?
Will there be an investigation into this matter to determine a substantive and rational reason as to why this has occurred?
Important issues are now being considered on Capitol Hill and Specter might have borderline illegal presence in determining their outcome.
We the People demand Arlen Specter step down or be removed from office being that he now occupies this position in a capacity in which he was not elected to do so.

Specter is an opportunist who does not do his job by representing his constituents. His changing of parties to avoid defeat in 2010 was the done purely for political expediency and because of that, he now holds an office in a capacity in which he was not elected for. Further more, his constituents mostly oppose health care reform, but during a town hall meeting, he said that he does not care what the people want because he is going to vote however he wants to anyway. Its time to fire this clown.
