Stop Deportation of Undocumented Immigrants

Deportation not only separates families and causes unnecessary break up of the family. It also affects the economy of the United States because it is usually immigrants who support the working class economy by doing jobs that are underpaid, workers put long hours of work such as dishwashers and cooks in restaurants, delivery boys in delis and construction workers. Deportation also affects those children who were born in the United States because when their parents are deported they have to go back to their parent’s native country or being left at the mercy of the court system. When they go back to the parents’ country, the children have to attend new schools, adapt to a new way of living, and leave behind friends, family. Moreover, they may not have the opportunities that they could have here in the US.

Being a son of immigrants I can relate closely to this issue. I have the fortune of having parents that had the opportunity to legalize their status here in the United States, but I also have friends and family who are at risk of being deported and it breaks my heart to think that one of my family members could be deported. I also have many friends who are worried that their parents can be taken from them at any time.

What is it that the US has against the immigrants?? Why is okay for most Eastern countries not only to be here illegally, and are not tracked down. However, if you are from Mexico, Central America, or South America (OF HISPANIC RACE), it is this "illegal" case! There should be no difference. Identification should not be checked just because of the color of your skin, or your native accent. I have a neighbor who is from France and his whole family is here illegally, and living it up! ICE would never suspect them. Even I, A BORN AMERICAN OF NO HISPANIC DESCENT, have been asked to show proof of legality just because I speak Spanish. This country is getting outrageous! Whatever happened to freedom of Speech, etc?? WHEN WILL DISCRIMINATION END! The sad part is that the most who judge/want the hispanic immigrants out are of African American race. How can you treat a person that way, or feel that way about someone when your own ancestors went through the same struggle???
WHERE IS THE LOVE, PEACE, AND LIBERTY??

THERE IS NO LONGER AN AMERICAN DREAM!
I am caught in this terrifying situation i live with a close realtive and my parents not being here with me in the most needed years of my life are tough i try my best to take care of myself its really hard and tough sometimes my parents were deported a few years ago and know i live alone i am only 15 and i have to deal with my own problems
Everyone in this country was undocumented at some point in life, and they created the greates country in the world. If we are going to deport people, deport the criminals, gang members and all the CEOs that created an economic monster.
