I am a volunteer at the chester county hospital and was attending a formal and had on a tuxedo. I decided I would walk home afterward. The police came by as I was walking and asked what I was doing. Patted down and put in the back of a police car. I was in the police car. When I asked for my ID that was taken I undid my seat belt to access my wallet. The police immediately pulled over and screamed to get out of the car or be tazed. I had no choice. sit in the car and be tazed or get out in the pouring rain in a tuxedo. they made me kneel down in rushing water on the side of the roadthen pushed down they wresstled my hands back and left me lying there and told me to get up. I had to struggle to my feet without help with hands cuffed behind my back. tuxedo ruined by them twisting me to get my hands cuffed. Sited for drunk and disorderly when I was given no test and cooperated fully. I tried to fight it in court and of course the judge found me guilty and wasn't even allowed to tell my story. The money of course greaseing the wheels of justice. These 2 rookie cops did not have to treat my this poorly. There is no winning in court. All the cop had to do was show up and lie, and I was found guilty. I never resisted as they said , I never said "**** you" as the cop insisted I said. I was supporting a hospital and a cause. I am 56 and never been arrested. This country is turning into a police state. Citizens must be afraid of police brutality. I really believe the cops find it funny to treat citizens poorly. They are also 100% sure that legally the judge will believe them so they are able to act with impunity. The face of law and justice are changing and not for the better. More people will die because the cops use tazers on everyone, and many more will die from being tazed.
The people I know that have died from being tasered by LE, were individuals who were ill. There has to be another way to deal with it. Please stop killing our sick loved ones.
Use upon children, elderly, mentally ill, substance abusers- minorities, of course- I personally know of some situations that are chilling and completely unnecessary- . The most vulnerable and at risk are being legally tortured and abused. This is no joke.

Also, Linda Flowers also beat her with a police nightstick at the Walnut Park Plaza located at 63rd and Walnut St in 2002. I have dedicated my website (vomitt.com) to exposing Denise McCoy, Naomi Cane, Cordell Paterson, James Herring, Ulysses Bowman, maintenance personnel and others. Linda Desiderio is deliberately withholding funds for window washing at the Kling/Stubbin Partnership (2300 Chestnut st.) in Phila and to help fail V.O.M.I.T. Inc. I lost self-storage memorabilia and evidence in some other cases along with pain and suffering due to Clean Tec repeatedly saying "NEXT WEEK" or we want to coordinate the cleaning with “THE EVENT”. I believe this was Gangstalker organized harassment. At what point in time did someone at Clean Tec say; “we should have paid him when we had a chance!” It is no longer about the money. L and I came to 1419 Chew and told me to repair two windows at the top of the concrete steps in front of my home. Jonathan had me sign a document stating I agree to do the necessary repairs within the time allotted. He said he or another L and I representative would be back in (15) Fifteen Days to inspect my progress. Instead of keeping his word, He returned the very next day wi
After seeing a Florida news report of a woman now in a vegetative state after being taser while running handcuffed, I believe police are over using tasers and they should not be used.
I think police that taser someone should know that for every time they tase, they will be required to take a tasing also, thereby, hindering their desire to tase someone. Tasers allow for to much abuse of power.
When I met with a leutenant to fiel my complaint I mentioned that I expect ths incident under teh rug. Unconciously his head nodded "Yes!"
My subsequent with a Leutenant confirmed the cover-up. After 6 weeks teh Chief has yet to complete his report.
Apparently Police Chiefs write a PhD thesis each time there is a use of lethal weapons- especially if the use was questionable. Likely he is waiting for advice from council.
I called the plolice when at a moment of desperation and fear. Quickly I found a meter maid while dialing 911 and told her of my crisis. She offered that I was doing the right thing by calling for assistqance and got on her phone to dispatch and wzas the eyes on the sscene and whtithin 5 minutes of the arrival by 2 officers and then their Leuitenant's arrival found myself they tackled and tazed 3 times and unfortuantely there was medical permanent damage to me.
I was arrested without being booked and driven to the ER. After 30 minutes it was determined that I was not a danger to s/o and released quickly as possible and offered apologies for the mistakes our police.
My concern other then of course to self is that had there been a death there would be no truth-teller to be advocated for my experience.
I was on the steps of my lawyer who for 14 days had not responded to my plea to get state adminstered medical converage.
I have benn permannently injured becasue of a serious confluence of events.
I am desperate and angry.
The officers acted with lethal and unwranted force because of poor trainng and perhaps my ethinicity: Arab-American.
The point is as follows: if they save their lives by killing me they are physically not harmed but forever scarred bythe historic reality that they have killed a humanbeing and effectively ended their own lives.

Tasers should be done away with at police departments nationwide. They are unethical, and only a means of law officers covering up their incompetance, lack of training and lack of good communications. The tasers are for the lazy cop.

Tasers are very dangerous. Tasers are a weapon. To taser someone is no different than shooting with a gun if that person is suspected of having a medical problem.
My father Ernie O Ridlehuber was killed by use of a taser. He had committed no crime... he was mentally ill and the police was involved only because I called them to help me get him to the hospital.... what a mistake that was!!
I have read plenty of reports of police using tasers on non violent people including mentally and physically handicapped, elderly and children. Many of our police departments have turned into a bunch of power hungry Nazi's. They need to be stopped.
My daughter was tased by an Arlington, TX cop on Dec 30, 2010. She had her first EKG today for a minor surgery she is having and was informed that she has had a heart attack. She is 29. I believe the taser has a direct relation to this revelation, since she has never had any heart problems in the past. I don't understand why she had to be tasered. She said there were about 6 cops there. Can't 6 cops restrain 1 female without having to use a weapon on her? She still has a burn on her abdomen from the barb, 2 1/2 months later. Her heart is now permanently damaged. Shame on them.
I was tased repeatedly in the heart area for yelling for help. It was cruel and unusual punishment and i plan to sue as I have memory loss and pain now.
i myself was tased on new years in the neck til i bled out and in the genitals by an officer already charged twice for using excessive force but nothing has never been done to him so he is still out on the streets doing whatever he wants to whoever he wants.
My Brother was killed by police officers using a taser, their were two officer and THEY WERE NOT IN ANY KIND OF physical threat. They tased him twice and when he fell he hit his head on a truck and the officer continued to tase him on the back of his head. MY BROTHER MAY HAVE BEEN NOBODY TO THEM, BUT HE WAS SOMEONE TO ME, MY KIDS, HIS PARENTS, HIS CHILDREN!!
These weapons( tasers ) were meant to be used when the officer was in extreme danger. So as not to use "lethal force" by using their guns, but it turns out that they too are lethal and have killed and disabled to many (1 person being to many) They are starting to be so commonly used that are are now being used on children in public schools, and the elderly because they didn't follow the orders (just or unjust) given by the Officer(gangster in blue)
tasers, when used properly, arnt a horable tool that everyone makes it out to be. tasers saves lives of the police officer, the suspect and at times even civilians.
It is un constitutional for a police officer to use a taser in an "abusive and un regulated manner." It should be mandated by federal law that any use of a taser by law enforcement is for just and neccisary means that is for extreme circumstances that law enforcment encounter, and for no further use. Every cop on the street has the power to determine someones fate and that goes against everything the Constitution stands for. Police should assist the public not be walking threatening monarchs.
