We Count : 2010 Census

Many Transgender individuals living in The United States are lacking social services due to the fact that we are not being counted in the U.S census. It is time to recognize the needs of transgender people of this country and do something about it! Some of the issues Transgenders in this country face are drug addiction, survival sex work, homelessness, suicide, and highest rates of HIV infection, among many others. When we get counted as individuals and as a community we will have the opportunity to get the resources needed.

Please help make transgender people of this country count! Join The Transgender Service Provider Network (TSPN) to let President Obama know that Transgender people of this country count by joining our campaign "We Count!"

More importantly there are issues that do not affect survival sex working transgender persons as well, as we are not all sex workers or drug addicts. Issues such a proper access to care, insurance refusal to cover us even for common things such as the flu or sinus infections, broken legs, etc....
theyre people too
We all count! No exceptions!
They can not stop us anymore than they did Dr.M.L.King. The dream is still Alive and well, and one day we will hear the majority echo or words when they soon become the minority. History itself prove's change is inevitable, and we are the survivors. TG
