Americans see our Government as spineless jokes. If someone says... Hey! I don't want that, our government jumps up and says...Okay, Okay....we'll change our policy! Our government was based on a belief in God. If that isn't someone's choice, then they should have the following options: 1) Shut up.... this is what we have always based our culture on or 2) Move to another country where they can be as obnoxious and ugly as they want.

I have always found this issue an outrage. I couldn't believe that one athiest got away with this. We should have stood up at that moment and filed a law suit ourselves, to get God reinstated. God Bless America!

This country was founded on the constitution and the Declaration of Independance with both mention God frequently and now we think we are more intelligent than our founding fathers and want to remove the word God from the Pledge of Allegiance . It is absolutely ridiculous. Please continue to show me the government of this country is not going to go back on the basic foundations that created this country.
What happened with that Congress/Senator disrespecting the president with outcries of Liar, is only a tip of what we are in for. With all the interference of the gov into our family values, discipline, and religious beliefs, their are no rules or laws to follow. Chaos is here, and only just beginning. We need religion in our lives as a guidance for civilization to exist. The ten commandments are being ignored. Our forefathers founded this country on freedom OF religion, not from religion.
With out God our nation would not be where it is today and our forefathers were aware and grateful to our God for His protection. How can ignoring Him now be a benefit? Just maybe you are playing with fire and tempting Gods wrath> Maybe that is the reason our nation is in the fix it's in right now. BEWARE GOD is still in control!!!

The demise of our world will be a result of taking "God" out of our daily lives. It's sad enough that God has been taken out of our schools, work, etc. but to declare Americans a non-Christian nation is more than many can comprehend.
No government has the right to take "God" out of this nation. We the people want Him in our Pledge and back in our schools. We are One Nation Under God!!!
The words "Under GOD" should remain in our Pledge of Allegiance!
